The Titans try to get off the island but they soon realize everything is not what it appears to be. The episode begins with the titans inside their tower made out of parts from the island. Cyborg and Beast Boy play a video game, while Raven wonders how many ponies she can count to and Starfire also gets bored.

The titans realize that they have run out of things to do on the island and are officially bored. Starfire says that when they arrived on the island, it seemed fun, but now it is the boring. The Titans say that they should escape the island and head back home, but Robin interrupts the conversation by blowing a seashell, and tells them that they have lost their minds about leaving the island and that if they were in a TV show it would be a week-long event, but raven says that it isn't.

Cyborg then says that robin should stay on the island, while he and the others escape. They grab on to a hang glider that is made out of leaves and sticks and fly away home, but is disintegrated by a volcano. They later build a raft to escape on, but a hole appears and sinks into the ocean and the titans are attacked by sharks.

Then they launch themselves on a catapult, but they are eaten by a dinosaur and the dinosaur spits them out. As they crash land on the ground, Robin tells them to remember that the Island is inescapable, and that they learned about that on their first island adventure.

The titans groan, but robin makes them listen to Island Adventure. The song tells them about how they battled with dinosaurs, how they met the rich billionaires, how an alien wanted to take their skulls, how they had a fashion show, ate pure protein, had their wishes granted and how raven interacted with coconut cream pies.

The song then reveals that the island is actually FAKE and one of the trees are actually fake. The titans are then surprised that the island they are on is fake. Cyborg knocks the tree and is surprised that it is a cardboard counter display and knew that the song was right. Robin walks to the other trees and says that there all fake, and says that why they didn't notice it before.

Raven says that it is because they never walked behind them and Starfire says that only weirdos do that. Robin then notices that if everything is either real or fake. Cyborg grabs a rock and gasps that it is actually made out of foam. Starfire grabs a banana and also gasps that it has a microphone inside of it. Raven then spots a crab with a camera on it and gasps to. Beast Boy then reveals that his freckle is shaped like Mickey Mouse, but Cyborg says that it is a meatball sub, while Starfire says that it is a unicorn riding a cloud, and Raven says that it is a human skull, but Robin interrupts the conversation and says to stop, but then says it is two bears hi-fiving.

The others agree and say that they need to find a way to see if it is all fake. Cyborg then spots a hatch on the sky and Robin then tells them that it could be another Island Adventure, but the titans say that it won't be.

They reach the hatch and climb out of the hatch door and see a room filled with screens and wonder who is watching them. The screens are then turned off by Control Freak , who greets them and Robin knew that the mastermind of TV would behind all of this. Control Freak reveals that he hijacked their yacht, wiped out their memories, and placed them on a fake island inside a big arena.

Robin asks why he done that. Control Freak said that he was tried of watching them in their normal environment such as the living room and kitchen, but Starfire says that they go on the roof sometimes and Raven interrupts by saying that they also go to the lawn too. Control Freak then says that he wants them to too something exciting for once like an Island Adventure, then he turns the screens back on to reveal Sticky Joe relaxing on the island, but Robin says that his show is over and the titans want to return to their normal environment.

Control Freak agrees, but then says that their audience won't be happy about it. Robin gets confused and Control Freak then says that the show wasn't just for him and wanted other people to see it. Control Freak then presses a button on his remote and the screens start to open slowly and the titans stare at the opening until the doors fully open, only to reveal the titans greatest villains. Robin is then surprised to see all of their greatest foes, watching them.

Starfire then is confused why people put their time and effort on just watching them. Beast Boy then tells her that if she has ever been in the internet and gives her a tablet, revealing what people actually say to them, hurting their feelings. He presses a button to heckle the audience. The audience yells at them because they don 't want the show to end. Robin then yells GO! Billy Numerous attacks Robin, which Robin fights back using his staff.

Cyborg fights The Brain and the Brain Soldiers , using his cannons and aims at the targets, which causes The Brain to explode. Flex and Muscle attack Robin, but Robin notices and throws two birdrangs at them, but the latter use their telekinesis to fire back on Robin and Robin is then set on flames.

Starfire uses her Eyebeams to fire at many directions, until she notices a set of Blackbolt Eye-Beams firing in the background. She turns around only to reveal her sister Blackfire firing at her.

Blackfire then uses Lilac Fire Generation, in which she uses to aim at Starfire and Starfire then lands on the ground. Terra uses her powers to lift up platforms for Rose Wilson to attack. The platform goes at full speed and Rose gets her sword ready to attack Raven, but Raven uses her Magiportation to open a portal and causes Rose to go inside of it and the portal opens near Terra and causes Rose to crash land on her.

Raven celebrates her victory, but Trigon taps on her shoulder and Raven turns around only to see her father flicking his finger and causing her to crash somewhere. Cyborg then shoots missiles at the robot, which causes it's head to explode only to see that nobody is controlling it. Beast Boy and Cyborg land on top of it, and celebrate their victory by Hi-fiving, but Gizmo appears in the background on his Spider-legs and throws the two of them on the right wall.

Beast Boy and Cyborg land with the rest of the titans, recovering from their injuries, only to see that their too many villains for them to fight. Raven says that their too many of them and they need do something about it. Robin says that their is only one way to fight them and throws a birdarang on a lever, which the screen doors open, only to reveal the Dinosaurs , Alien Skull Collector , The Sports Equipment, and Magic Starfire Cat. The doors fully open, revealing the Island Extras.

Robin says that the Island Adventures really did help them and then commands the titans and Island Extras to attack the villains by shouting "GO! Cinderblock attacks Beast Boy and his Tyrannosaurus Rex. Cinderblocks punches them, but the Tyrannosaurus Rex attacks using it's Robo-fists, which causes Cinderblock to crumble into pieces.

Plasmus attacks Raven and her Triceratops. Raven commands her Triceratops to use Laser Horn, which shoots at Plasmus and holes appear, but Plasmus reseals the holes, but Raven uses a Mega Missile to destroy Plasmus, which eventually she does causing him to explode. Alien Skull Collector attacks the Robots using his laser gun, in which all of them eventually explode.

Billy Numerous is then seen in the background, preparing to fight the Alien Hunter, but the Alien uses Wolverine-like claws to attach Numerous, but Billy Numerous gets scared and runs to the nearest exit and enters the door, hoping to be safe, but Robin's Velciraptor opens the door and attacks Numerous.

Control Freak gets all sweaty. Robin uses the sports equipment to attack Doctor Light. Mammoth roars, only to be crushed by Cyborg's Brontosaurus foot. The rich Wife and Husband uses their cash bags to wack Muscle and Flex's brains. The Alien Skull Collector appears in a dark valley in the background with red eyes and grabs The Brain's head. The titans defeat all their enemies and go up against Control Freak, but Control Freak tries to escape on his chair before the Titans attack him, but Robin throws his Birdrangs and Beast Boy turns into a Octopus to throw them at Control Freak, causing his chair to explode.

Robin then says that his Summer Event is over and he has failed, but Control Freak says that they turned his island idea into something super cool and genre appropriate and calls it a stunt. The doors open in the background and fully open, only to reveal Slade and Batman 's and other Justice League members enemies. The episode ends.

While this was different from his character in the animated cartoon, the Teen Titans Go comic issue Naked City references his DC comic book character when he tries to use fashion to hypnotize the citizens. Mad Mod's first appearance was in the episode Mad Mod. Mad Mod has no superpowers of his own, but he is a master of technological trickery and employs robots and holographic projectors, which he controls with a ruby-handled cane. In one circumstance, he was able to use such a cane to drain the youth from someone Robin , making them old and himself young again.

He also habitually employs optically induced hypnosis to make his victims submit to his will. Through his hypnosis and holograms, it looked as if he could control both matter and the laws of physics. A Rules page has been set up. Please check it before contributing to the wiki.

This wiki has recently been adopted by PyroGothNerd. We hope it will bring new fans for the show as well as making it possible to greenlit Teen Titans for a season 6, but will have to wait and see if that happens. Thanks for reading! Due to a recent glut of edits to the contrary, I'm going to go ahead and post here that the Teen Titans Wiki is only for content relating to the original animated series, its comic book spinoff, and the related games.

We will not be recording the data for this new series, as it is not in continuity with the original series. There is already a Teen Titans Go! Wiki for content pertaining to the new TV series. The series has received critical acclaim. Early into the series' run, Executive Producer and Cartoon Network Vice President Sam Register responded to criticism regarding the style of the show with a statement slightly contradicting Murakami's statement about wanting Robin to "be cool" with his metal-tipped boots:.

The original principal voice cast returns to reprise their respective roles. This series explores what the Titans do when they are hanging out around the tower. On July 28, , the series was confirmed to be renewed for a fourth season, which premiered on October 20, Teen Titans Go! The show is littered with in-jokes regarding the whole of DC's library, many of them in blink-and-miss moments, as well as numerous jokes at the expense of the show itself.

Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, Teen Titans Go! Enter has been known to call the characters the "Toddler Titans" due to their immaturity. It has below average ratings on TV.

WatchMojo created lists for the show's worst episodes and awful lessons it teaches kids. Cookies help us deliver our services. By using our services, you agree to our use of cookies. Plot Teen Titans Go! Why It Sucks Lazy animation, character designs compared to the original , and writing. Many "villains" aren't much of a threat. Trigon, once an embodiment of evil in the comics and the Teen Titans series, is portrayed as a sitcom dad rather than a demonic father. The developers cannot handle criticism, going as far as making episodes that mock the critics, Internet reviewers, and fans of the original Teen Titans.

The Titans have been butchered badly: Robin is a complete overbearing and severely mentally or psychologically ill dominant jerk. He barely ever gets any respect by his own team and they often don't listen to him, even if he doesn't do anything wrong or mean to them. Beast Boy is a couch potato who barely gets up to do something simple.

Cyborg is an annoying idiot. According to an interview, the creators, Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, explicitly stated that they have never watched the original Teen Titans.

It's overly random and lots of things are excessively out-of-place. Because of its annoyance, laziness, randomness, and stupidity, it can essentially be an eleven-minute long "It's for kids!

A complete waste of talented voice actors. Horrid dialogue. Inappropriate moments targeted at kids, such as some of the characters twerking in some of the episodes, as seen in "Booty Scooty", and "The Fourth Wall". Annoying and repetitive songs such as "Waffles", "I'm a Hot Pepper", and the lackluster theme song.

No continuity. Lots of padding. So many plotholes, such as Beast Boy eating meat before the episode, "Vegetables" came out. It became self-aware of how bad it is and is proud of that.

Animation errors in many episodes. Another example is where in "Finally a Lesson", they deliberately kick out the "villains" from their apartment homes in a harsh way. In "Movie Night", Robin attacks Control Freak and steals his television, but he wasn't doing anything wrong. In "Caged Tiger", Dr. Light tries to redeem himself and join the Titans, but Robin, Cyborg, and Beast Boy don't accept his redemption and instead mercilessly beat him up for no apparent reason.

The Titans are constantly gunning for Robin's position as leader, to near-Starscream levels. The Titans treat it like their playground and are disrespectful towards citizens, as well as "villains" on their day off, intentionally creating enemies through ridiculous insults and inflicting harm on individuals like the Mocking Birds, Zan the Wonder Twin, Aqualad, etc.

The Titans barely even go on adventures. He doesn't even sing! Between and , it dominated the network's schedule just because it was pulling in better ratings than other shows. In , however, the series' ratings began dipping significantly due to the target audience becoming fed up with the lack of diversity in the network's non-Adult Swim schedule; not helping was the fact that Nickelodeon and Disney XD were actually outright beating Cartoon Network in ratings Nickelodeon due to The Loud House and massive improvements to SpongeBob SquarePants , and Disney XD due to putting out shows like Star vs The Forces of Evil and the DuckTales reboot.

As of September , the series now only has four hours of airtime on weekdays, five on weekends, in an effort to return diversity to the schedule and reverse the falling viewership trend. Every now and then to be fair , there is an episode or a duo that is good. It contains lesser-known corners of the DC canon. Fall Out Boy appeared in this and they are actually based on the real life members.

They also have a pretty decent role in one episode. Some funny moments here and there. The movie was surprisingly far superior than the show itself. The credit music and "The Night Begins to Shine" not to be confused with the miniseries of the same name are decent songs.
